I don't know about a reviewer competition but lately I've been thrown when I see different reviewers approving in my area and the local one "whom we shall keep anonymous" approving elsewhere. I know they are supposed to do it but it was nice to be able to see their name and know whether it is close or in another state...

You should have came to GeoWoodstock as the Reviewers were spilling their guts. But our very own Irish Reviewer was conspicuously absent from this august panel. None the less, it was like sitting through a Frog dissection. They did, however, cite the record for single day publishing.
